Late Patrick Sawyer’s wife has revealed her husband knew he
had Ebola before travelling to Nigeria. Mrs Sawyer said he died it because he
wanted a better medical attention in the country, knowing that Liberia was
lacking in that. Here is what she wrote on her Facebook page after saying she
has read a lot about what people call her husband’s ‘recklessness’ in the
papers.
“I’ve read other reports in other papers (not the New York
Times) about Patrick’s “recklessness.” I get where they’re coming from, and
they certainly have the right to feel the way they do. However, as Patrick’s
widow, I would like to shed some light on this from another perspective. One
