A Mega School in Osun State has collapsed injuring two people in the
process. The incident which occurred around 6.05 am on Wednesday, 9th of
July, 2014, threw the entire community into pandemonium after the sound of a loud bang was heard when the building, which is the main hall of the newly completed school, caved in.
Reacting to the incident, the government said it regrets to inform members of the public about the incident of the collapse of the main hall of the newly completed ultramodern High School, Ejigbo, but it should be of note that all necessary quality assurance tests were carried out to ensure structural durability and integrity of the project, just as in all other projects under its administration, a statement from teh Director, Bureau of Communications and strategy, Mr Semiu Okanlawon read.
