Crowd Disrupts #BringBackOurGirls Peaceful Protest In Abuja

Is all hope lost?  The Unity fountain where hundreds of peaceful protesters gather daily to remind our government to #bringbackourgirls today was turned into a market place to disrupt their peaceful protest which has been going on there on a daily basis. Some of the protesters said, ‘rented’ man and women gathered around the place pretending to be selling foodstuffs and ringing bells to attract buyers. They later started attacking the protesters when they refused to leave despite turning the place into a market. In all, the protesters said the police watched as they were been attacked and did nothing about it. More tweets after the cut.
