Dr. Dora Akunyili’s Health Worsens, Needs To Be Flown Abroad Urgently

According to reports, the former minister is seriously sick and needs to be flown to India possibly tonight as a matter of urgency. Efforts are currently being made by officials of the foreign affairs ministry to secure an Indian visa for her as soon as possible because her doctor says any delay might be risky.

It will be recalled that Mrs Akunyili has been sick for a while, but showed up at the on-going conference in Abuja where she thanked those who stood by her and said she was getting better.  Please let’s say a word of prayer for her.
