Japhet Omojuwa, 5 Others Arrested Over NIS Killing Protest

Japhet Omojuwa, and five other Nigerian youths; Calvin Lawan, Uche Briggs, Ikeolu Senbanjo, Tosin Adex and Mr. Ogunmola were today arrested after they made a peaceful protest seeking justice for the 17 applicants that died during the March 15 NIS recruitment exercise across the nation. The young activists were whisked away in an NSCDC Hilux van, after they had warned them to leave the surrounding.

El-Rufai and Hon.Dino Melaye also protested their arrests, as Dino said they should be ready to make more arrests. Thankfully, Omojuwa and others have been released this night, but asked to report back tomorrow. Find Omojuwa's tweet, El-Rufai, FFK, Dino, and Oby Ezekwesili's tweets after the cut.
