As we all know, Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, will be forced to leave his post in March, 2014, two months before the formal expiration of his tenure. Two sources at the Presidency and a source at the Central Bank told Sahara Reporters that Mr. Sanusi has been ordered to proceed on a post-retirement leave in March.
If Mr.President would make a replacement with someone credible and vibrant, do you think Tony Elumelu would be the right choice?
Some are of the opinion that, “The President needs an image maker, a redeemer' while others feel that “the post of CBN Governor would kind of belittle Elumelu. The guy is poised for much bigger things.
