Nigerian Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transsexual & Inter-sex in Diaspora held a rally yesterday, Thursday, 20th February, 2014 outside Nigerian High Commission, London, to protest the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act signed into law by President Goodluck Jonathan.

According to them, they had to come together to say No to this atrocious law and its blatant violation of their human rights.  They also delivered a protest letter to the Nigerian High Commissioner. In the spirit of Love
that February is famous for, they hosted a kissing spree outside the embassy as they said Yes to Love and No to Hate.

Defending their right against people who use the bible to judge them, the coordinator of the protest Davis Mac-Iyalla  said:

I do use pieces to point out their imperfections, though, when they use it as a weapon against homosexuals. The African church must open its mind to honest conversations. The African bishops need to stop doing the talking and start listening to the LGBT people.

Shocking Photos: Dead Baby Girl Found Near Canal By UNILAG Gate

Dear Lord! A little girl (pictured after the cut) was found today, at about 5:30pm, dead in a canal close to the main gate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka in Lagos.

The girl, barely a year old, was dead already by the time she was found. And eyewitnesses suspect she was  thrown into the canal cos she had injuries all over her little body, with flies, ants perching and running all over her. Authorities at the scene, Mr Oluwole Isaac of the Lagos State Environment Health Monitoring Unit (LSEHMU), confirmed they will drop her corpse at a police station although he did not specify which.

This isn't the first time a dead baby will be found in this canal. Sometime in 2012, a two-week old baby boy,
still with the placenta, was found dead in this same canal near the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

So so heartbreaking. The mother of this baby is somewhere right now reading this story too. If this baby wasn't kidnapped, if the mother of this child actually did this to her own child, dear Lord, what an evil woman!
