A 37 year old C & S Pastor has
been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for raping a 32 year old woman
within the church premises at Odogbolu in Ogun State.
According to the victim, the C
& S Pastor was in a prayer session with her when he asked her to hold on to
some candle stick and forcefully pulled off her wears before eventually having
carnal knowledge of her within the church premises.
The Pastor was later apprehended when
the victim and her relations stormed the Police Division to notify the DPO
of the pastor’s misdeeds and to seek justice.
Confirming the incident, Police
Spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi revealed that:
“The matter is currently at the
Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the Department of Criminal
Investigation, Abeokuta and medical reports so far received on the matter
confirmed that the pastor actually committed the offence and he has confessed
to the crime. The matter will soon be charged to court”
